I love the rooms at Excellence Riviera Cancun for their size, luxury, and really thoughtful (and plentiful) amenities, including a fully stocked bar (my fave!).
Giant King beds, marbled bathrooms, personal Jacuzzi, plus patios or balconies with beautiful furniture. I wish my home was like this place.
Check out the Junior Spa or Pool View Suite. Ask for a king or (if you – or your partner – are the type to toss and turn or yank the covers) a pair of double beds. No problem.

Then get in on the ground floor with a Junior Swim-up Suite, where the pool is only a few feet away from your toes. Unwind on the terrace in your private outdoor Jacuzzi or curl up with a good read in the hammock or one of the sun beds. You won’t be the only one breaking out a Kindle (but BE SURE to put extra sunscreen on your face if you do – iPads and Kindles will reflect ambient sunlight to your face and you’ll burn there faster!)

Here’s my advice: Spring for the Excellence Club…..it’s a small extra cost that nets you loads of extra goodies and special treatment. Think of it as a Private Resort inside the Resort.
The Club rooms have some cool extra perks…..like a personal concierge, top shelf drinks, hot tub on the balcony, ocean views, and a private check in/check-out process. And access to the exclusive “Club”, which features a nice lending library of books and DVDs, a fresh buffet, and a terrific Barista who served my coffee exactly how I like it every morning! Some Club suites even have a private rooftop pool.
You can choose a luxurious Junior Suite Oceanfront room with Concierge service from 7am to 11pm, private beach, and a complimentary Aqua Wellness Spa Treatment. Sounds great? It is!
My personal favorite is the 2-Story Rooftop Terrace Suite where sand, sea, and sun are the stars. The balconies are furnished, the Caribbean views are forever, and the outdoor Jacuzzi (and shower!) is amazing.
Newlyweds adore the Honeymoon Suite Oceanfront. Over 1,000 square feet of romance, upgraded amenities, blue water views, and a super-comfy King bed. Plus, 2 private balconies with elegant furnishings (no plastic chairs here!) and 2 (yes, two!) private indoor and outdoor Jacuzzis for newly united.

The “Wow” factor starts with almost 2,000 square feet of endless extravagance. There is lots of “elbow room” with a separate living room, detached dining room, extra shower and double vanities in the full marble bathroom.
